The lovely Anne at Beadazzle has just released the next bunch of classes and there are 5 different wire classes to choose from! Check out the schedule HERE. If you are new to making wire jewellery, the Working with Wire class is the one to start with. You'll learn how to make loops to join your wire components and bead units together, and become familiar with using the pliers and cutters used to work with wire. Then there are 4 more advanced classes to move on to: Wire Wrapped Beads, Wire Woven Bracelet, Wire Rings, Tree of Life Pendant.

I will be at the Boulevard Arts Fiesta tomorrow - Sunday 17 February, 10.30am-3.00pm, Moana Reserve, Orewa. There'll be other stalls and lots of artists selling and demonstrating their art. It'll be another beautiful day so come for a drive.

This term's class schedule at Beadazzle has been released! We're running Working with Wire, Wire Wrapped Beads and two new classes - Woven Wire Bracelet and Tree of Life Pendant. Learn two different ways to make loops to 'string' and join your beads, and then move on to wrapping beads with wire to make pendants or to link together. Our new classes are learning wire weaving to make a textured bracelet and twisting wire to make a unique pendant.
