It's the middle of winter and to cheer us all up, Mt Eden market is giving away a basket of goodies from the crafters at the market to one lucky customer!  Every purchase you make at the market tomorrow puts you in the draw.

I'll be there with one of my latest creations, this beautiful heart pendant, created with copper, purple, silver, pink and gold wire in different gauges (thicknesses).  I forged (hammered) the copper frame to flatten it and add the facetted effect.  Forging hardens the wire and gives it more strength so it holds its shape better.  The pendant is hung on a chain of tiny spirals and has a handmade s-shaped hook closure.
