ChristiesLawLogoChristie Marceau, aged 18, was murdered in her home in November 2011.  The accused had been previously charged with kidnapping her and had been released on bail, against police opposition, to an address in close proximity to her home.

A campaign to change the bail laws in New Zealand and have performance review for judges was launched on 26 February 2012 by Christie's family and friends.

Turquoise was Christie's favourite colour and on launch day supporters are asked to wear turquoise in her honour.  I don't have turquoise clothes but I can make turquoise jewellery - earrings, bracelets, anklets - and now you can buy it too!  Just Contact Us.  The profits from this special jewellery go to Christie's Law fundraising.

For more information on how to support this important cause, visit the Christie's Law webpage.

To sign the petition, donate or purchase jewellery, visit the Christie's Law stand at the Bunnings Community Fun Day this Saturday 17 March.
