If you've ever wanted to learn to make your own jewellery using wire come and join one of my classes.  Start with the basics of making loops at the ends of pieces of wire used to join beads and components together in all types of jewellery and various other items in the Working with Wire class.  Then move on to more wire working techniques and projects.

The classes are being held at Beadazzle, a fabulous bead and craft shop in Birkenhead, on the North Shore, Auckland.  Anne Marks is the lovely owner and she'd be delighted to take your booking.  See the bottom of the page for how to make your booking.

(Beginner Level)

Learn foundation skills with tools to make the perfect wire loops, useful for many purposes in jewellery making, including earring dangles, pendants on necklaces, and charms for bracelets. Advance further to learn the secrets of wrapped loops to give extra strength and finish to your projects. Then combine with beads to make earrings and/or a linked bracelet.
 
2 hours each class
$30 class fee + materials

Wire Wrapped Beads

(Intermediate Level)

Build on your foundation skills, and learn to use wire in a sculptural way to wrap and adorn your beads. Learn up to 5 different wire wraps to create the components to make a stunning unique necklace, or to combine as the feature with other beads.

2 hours each class
$30 class fee + materials

Woven Wire Bracelet

(Intermediate Level)

Learn to shape a wire bangle from scratch and decorate with a modified soumak weave design in wire. Have fun with texture, colour, and shape to make a delicate and unique bracelet!

2 hours each class

Wire Rings

(Intermediate Level)

Learn up to 4 styles of wire-worked rings in this class. Using different gauges of wire and embellishing with beads if you wish, you'll extend the technical skills learnt in Working with Wire classes - spirals, plaiting, wrapping, setting in beads are all covered. And of course you'll always have a ring that is the perfect fit for you!

Tree of Life Pendant

(Intermediate Level)

Learn to create a framework form then get twisting with wire of different gauge and colours to create a unique pendant piece, reflective of you. Include beads to enhance if you wish.

2 hours each class
$30 class fee + materials

All classes will take place at Beadazzle, Shop 3, 27 Mokoia Rd, Birkenhead.

3-hour free parking is available in the carpark building of Highbury Mall, which is just a few doors away from Beadazzle. Entry to the carpark is from Birkenhead Ave, or Mokoia Rd.

Deposit must be received at least 3 days before the class to secure your place. Eftpos or credit card payment of deposit only accepted in store. Bookings made in store will be confirmed immediately.

If you book by phone or email, we will send you Beadazzle’s bank account details for payment of the deposit. Once your deposit is received, we will email or phone you to confirm your place in the class. Please note, your booking is not finalised until you have received this confirmation, and confirmations will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.

A minimum of 4 bookings are required for a class to take place. Maximum for any class is 7 participants.

All deposits are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by Beadazzle.

All prices listed are in New Zealand Dollars and include NZ Goods and Services Tax (GST)  of 15% - this tax is removed for overseas orders.  Payments are processed in NZ$.

All orders will generally be shipped within 48 hours of payment being received, and you will receive an email advising that your order has been shipped.  If there is a problem with your order, we will contact you.

All orders are subject to New Zealand law.

 

New Zealand Shipping

We use Fastway Couriers.  Packages are tracked and require signature upon delivery.  Postage and packaging is NZ$5.00 for delivery to urban centres, and NZ$7.00 for rural delivery.

Free postage for orders over NZ$100.00.

Delivery should take 1-3 working days.  If you have not received your order by the fourth working day after receiving an email that your order has been shipped, please let us know so we can track the parcel.

You will be notified of the label number for your parcel in the email advising your order has been shipped.  Go to www.fastway.co.nz to track the parcel yourself.

 

International Shipping

The shipping options for your country will be automatically calculated when you complete your order.

International Air is not tracked and should take up to 10 working days.
International Courier is tracked, signature required, and should take up to 6 working days.  Please note, this service is not available for all destinations.
Express International Courier is tracked, signature required, and should take up to 5 working days.
Please let us know if you do not want to sign for your parcel.  Please note that we cannot be responsible for parcels that are delivered without a signature.

Be aware, sometimes parcels take longer - please remember that once the item is in the postal system, the shipping process is out of our hands.

 

Refunds

We understand that when buying products online sometimes it can be difficult to judge the size, colour and shape, so if the product doesn't suit, or is faulty, simply send it back in the original condition within 7 days of receipt and we will issue you with a credit or refund your money (for the cost of the item only, not the shipping).

If you choose a replacement item we will send it back at no additional shipping charge.
