Willow Park Primary School is holding their annual Gift Market and Gala tomorrow, 10am-2pm. If you're up to thinking about Christmas gifts, this would be a great place to go.
I will be there selling my handmade jewellery, including Christmas earrings and kids' bracelets.
The school is in Compton St, Hillcrest. There'll be an eftpos machine there if you don't have cash.

...and it's time to get new Christmas earrings and think about presents. I'll be at the Birkenhead Artisan Market at Birkenhead Community Centre in Hinemoa St tomorrow 9-1, at the Willow Park School Christmas Gift Market on 9 November and at the Mt Eden Craft Market, cnr Ngaruahoe St, on 30 November, 7 and 14 December. Come and see me!

I received an email a few days ago saying that my favourite bead shop The Bead Hold is closing on Sunday 17 November. :-( After 9 and a half years Nia is closing the Pt Chev shop and going completely online. She has had the online shop for a while. She moved to Taranaki when she got married a few years ago and now has two young boys to look after and with rent going up and the building up for sale anyway, she decided having a physical shop is too difficult.
Our bead club will get two more classes before the shop closes and then we think we'll continue meeting monthly anyway, where, we don't know yet.
I will miss being able to go into the shop but hopefully Nia will still have a great selection online.
